GDX 2022

After the incredible success that Interactive Arts Alberta saw at GDX 2022, we are pleased to announce that GDX 2023 will be partnering once again with Explore Edmonton to be a feature of the K-Days experience. Over 40,000 attendees entered our ballroom space, making the Game Discovery Exhibition the largest celebration of games and games culture in Canada.

Now we're going bigger.

Canada Leads

Canadian developers prove over and over that they are some of the most talented developers in the world and continue to contribute massively to Canada's GDP - landing Canada in the top 5 gaming hubs around the world.

In 2023, we'll be showing the world what we have right here in Alberta, expanding partnerships, offering professional development from K-12 to AAA, community opportunities - all with show hours that will enable our developers to put their best foot forward. We've heard your feedback and we're ready to make this an even more incredible experience.

Without our local studios, we would not be able to show the world what we're made of.
